Description

Learn to Cast Pewter in the comfort of your own home live online. Detailed clear demos will show you the processes step by step and be repeated as many times as you like so you feel confident to have a go yourself. You’ll have time to practice and ask questions throughout the day and I’ll be there the whole time to make sure you make great progress in the processes. The kit provided ensures that you'll not only have everything you need for the course but to be able to carry on afterwards too. This exciting process involves making and using moulds, melting and pouring the pewter, finishing and polishing your design, and turning it into jewellery. By the end of the workshop you will have completed 4-6 pieces in a variety of techniques, finishes and styles. Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery of your kit. This workshop is a guaranteed one to one session so that I can tailor the workshop to your interests and needs as an individual. You can achieve so much this way. Develop skills to start a new business, take up a new hobby or craft for the joy of it … I can ensure the day progresses the way you want it to. What you will need

A clean, safe place to work when using the provided blow torch on a heat mat. A drill (a hand drill is fine if you do not have a power tool), a scrap piece of wood to drill onto, a craft knife and mat or scissors, hammer and centre punch and a pair of pliers if you have them (don't worry if not). A WiFi connection and access to a computer large enough to see the demos clearly and with the ability to play sound.
