Contains 20 original Lucy Dorothy Papercutting Templates printed on to 120gsm smooth white acid free paper. All templates are suitable for beginners and once finished, can be mounted or framed, making them perfect for displaying around the home or to be given as a gift. Each template has been designed to fit an 8x8” frame. These templates contain brief instructions, however if you are new to Papercutting you may prefer to purchase Lucy Dorothy's Papercutting Starter Kit, which contains everything you need to get started with lots of hints and tips. Please refer to the separate listing for this product. Please note these templates have been printed on to paper carefully chosen because it is ideal for someone new to papercutting. The ultra smooth surface and 120gsm weight make it easy to cut, without having to apply too much pressure. However if you have a preference for a particular weight of paper, I would recommend getting in touch to discuss purchasing the digital version of these templates, then you can print them out yourself on to your preferred paper choice. Lucy Dorothy Nichols is an English paper and textile artist, creating pieces that have a story to tell, be that humorous, informative or thought provoking. Her recent paper sculptures are inspired by titles from the Observer Pocket Book series and include amongst others, a Rainbow Making Machine, a Weather Maker’s Shop and even a Zoo for Imaginary Animals and Curious Creatures. Lucy runs both freemotion and papercutting workshops at venues across Hampshire, Surrey & Berkshire.
