Description

All Materials and tools are included in this workshop! Beautiful ceramics are back! Be part of this timeless interiors trend by crafting something exclusive and meaningful to you. Katrina, our local ceramic artist, will walk you through your own design and painting experience. Based on a fresh spring theme you will finish with a fully functional plate, perfect for gifting, displaying in your home or even creating a new family heirloom. Your design will be created on a 26cm ceramic plate (a choice of styles will be available) and finished with colourful underglazes and finally professionally glazed and fired for collection just two weeks later. You will be able to try a range of tools and ceramic art techniques with support every step of the way. To further personalise your design, Katrina will be able to add some calligraphy or script. Perfect to add special and personal details such as names and dates of birth or perhaps you might be creating a piece to celebrate a wedding, baby's birth or baptism. Katrina's sample commemorates the names and dates of birth of her children. A marvellous creation to keep or gift. There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.
