Description
This one day course includes all tuition, materials and equipment to make a footstool with your choice of finish for the legs. All you need to bring is a metre of fabric for the top cover - fabric should be suitable for upholstery. The day runs from 10.00 - 4.00 and includes free parking. Lunch can be bought in the local shops. No experience is needed for this course and it is suitable for all ages. You will take your footstool home at the end of the day. Class sizes are limited to 8 and there will be two tutors on the day to provide an appropriate level of guidance and instruction. This is a fantastic introduction to the skills of upholstery and many students continue to a full 12 week course with more complex items of furniture renovation.
