Description

Fancy giving a tired piece of furniture a revamp? Come and join us on our Friday course (4 sessions over 4 consecutive Fridays) in our workshop located in a converted pigsty on Parsonage Farm, Long Ashton, Bristol. Choose between mornings and afternoons, or a full day for larger projects - click the 'More Dates' button to see prices. Over the four sessions you will be given guidance and tutoring on how to re-upholster your chosen piece of furniture. This course is limited to four participants, enabling you to get the most out of the session and easy access to the experienced course tutor who is a professional upholsterer.

What's included in the price?

You will need to bring a piece of furniture of your choice. We would recommend contacting us prior to the course commencing to check the suitability of the piece. We’d suggest starting off with something simple. You will also need to provide fabric for your project, but don’t worry, we can help you source this and we offer a 10% discount of fabrics purchased through us. We will provide you with the tools you need to use during the session as well as handouts to take away. Please note that materials such as foam used during the sessions will be an additional cost. Tea and coffee are provided. Our workshop is located in the village of Long Ashton, with a handful of lovely pubs and a village shop, if you wish to buy lunch. Alternatively, please bring a packed lunch. There is also a toaster and microwave that students can use.

Sorry, but no. We are a small company and cannot offer any alternative “make-up” dates.

Yes. Before you start your project, please email it to CraftCourses directly, requesting that they forward it to us, the course provider. Please send any photos before buying the chair.

You can order fabric from us if you live in the UK. Payment will need to be made in full when placing an order. You will find a comprehensive fabric directory on our website. The selected companies are ones we often use and are confident in the quality of the fabrics and their customer service.
