Description

In a relaxed environment, Hayley from Bramley Pottery, will take you through the process of making a stunning serving bowl with detailed edging and a matching smaller bowl. No previous experience is necessary as Hayley will guide you through each step to building these fabulous pieces of pottery. Once your bowls have dried Hayley will fire them in her kiln and then glaze them for you in a celadon colour of your choice. These bowls really make quite a centre piece on the table and the glaze is food safe so can be used for fruit, salad or bread. The pottery journey takes time, so expect to wait up to six weeks after the workshop to receive your pieces as this will allow time for them to dry, to be bisque fired, glazed and re-fired. Once finished they can be collected from her studio in Ballinger, or they can be sent via courier, at an additional cost. Make sure you bring an apron and messy clothing to the workshop, Hayley will provide all the tools you need to make your pottery. This course accommodates 10 people.

What's included in the price?

All materials, tuition, use of tools as well as refreshments are included. Once the pieces are fired and glazed, Hayley will then arrange with you for them to be picked up from her studio, or alternatively, can be sent to you (for a small additional postage charge).
