Coffee, Cake, 'n' Craft - Heart Felt Hearts in New Romney, Kent
Description
Step into a world of contrast and craftsmanship with Ice and Fire, an elegant creative experience inspired by two rich cultural traditions. This beautifully paced workshop invites you to explore the harmony between calm Nordic design and the expressive vibrancy of Mexican folk art, resulting in two handcrafted hearts that are entirely your own. You will begin with a Danish-inspired woven heart, rooted in tradition and timeless simplicity. Delicate yet purposeful, this classic design can be filled with handwritten notes, small keepsakes or sweet treats, or displayed as a striking decorative piece. Its quiet charm offers a moment of mindful making, where precision and pattern come together effortlessly. In contrast, your second piece draws inspiration from Mexico’s bold celebration of colour and texture. This heart is expressive, joyful and full of warmth, allowing you to play with vibrant combinations and layered details. The result is a statement piece that brings personality and a sense of celebration into any space, whether indoors or out. Designed to suit both beginners and experienced makers, the session unfolds in a relaxed, small-group setting where creativity is encouraged and time feels unhurried. Gentle guidance is always available, allowing you to explore techniques, experiment freely and enjoy the pleasure of making without pressure. As part of our much-loved Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the atmosphere is welcoming, sociable and quietly indulgent.
