Sunday 28th April 10.00am-3pm Returning Sunday 5th May 3.30pm-5.30pm to add colour Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). It is becoming very popular with crafts and artists alike so why not give it a try. In this class you will be shown step by step how to make your own elemental spirit sculpture. you will be shown how to make your armature and dress your sculpture using powertex and textured natural fibres. Once dry on day two (5th May 3.30pm-5.30pm) you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture of your sculpture, the exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. There will examples to inspire your imagination. Once finished you take your unique sculpture home with you. Please bring a packed lunch with you. This class is aimed at adults, over 10's can also book a place and welcome to attend when accompanied by a full paying adult. Everything You need will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. This workshop is run by Michelle Melville Level 4 Powertex tutor
