'Make Clothes' course, a great short course for those who have some sewing experience, ideally you'll have completed a beginner sewing course already.
Learn to use a commercial paper pattern to make simple garments such as an A-line skirt, top or trousers for those who haven't made clothing before.
If you're a refresher wanting to learn more advanced skills, why not try something more challenging like a pinafore, shirt, dress or jacket.
Your tutor Aliss will guide you through all the necessary steps to help you make your item of clothing.
You'll get expert help in a small group, from cutting out your fabric, understanding the pattern instructions to construct your garments.
For advanced clothes making you'll learn more professional finishing techniques such as seam binding, adding facing and lining.
5-week course length, 2 hours per week.
Borrow a sewing machine for an additional fee.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
