Description
This exciting process involves making and using moulds, melting and pouring the pewter, and finishing and polishing your design. With expert tuition this workshop is suitable for anyone. If you have cast pewter before you can dive straight into your bangle design and production. If you are new to pewter casting we’ll practice the technique by making a pendant piece before moving onto the bangle. Once you've had the whole day to explore this accessible process you are just a couple of bits of kit away from setting up at home. There is a maximum of 4 students per course so there will be lots of help and time to create your beautiful jewellery. For larger groups please message prior to booking. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Where it all began … I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in Graphics and with 16 years experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages so it's definitely and 2 way street!
