Description
Macraweaving combines the crafts of macrame knotting with weaving to create one of a kind eye catching pieces that burst with colour and texture. Mixing the ancient skills of macrame and weaving with a little modern tapestry weaving thrown in to create a modern craft using using mixed fibres like roving and cord wool and fabric for colour and texture. At the end of this course you will: Be able to select suitable materials for weaving Be familiar with basic macramé knots Be familiar with basic weaving techniques Incorporate different colours and textures to your work Produce a one of a kind wall hanging to display your new skills. What's included in the price?
Your course fee includes tuition from one of our experienced tutors, the use of equipment and all materials will be provided. There will be the oportunity to purchase some equipment if you choose. Be warned, it can become adictive. There will be a £5. charge for material payable to the tutor on the day.
