Description
In this workshop you will create a set of lino print Christmas cards. Using a single piece of lino, Helen will show you easy, creative and imaginative ways of varying your prints with the use of selective inking, blended rolls and chine colle. Work from your own ideas and reference material, or Helen can provide you with photos and templates to speed up the design stage. Learn about safely using cutting tools, accurate registration technique and how to produce your final print. Demonstrations and individual guidance will be given along the way. You will be provided with blank cards and envelopes. To get the most out of this workshop you might like to prepare a Christmas design that you would like to use. The lino will be roughly 10 x 10cm. Suitability: For Adults and Age 12+ (if accompanied) Beginners & Advanced Book early to avoid disappointment
What's included in the price?
All materials, tools and equipment are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Please be aware that inks stain, so bring an apron! (Disposable ones are available to use) A lovely fun festive workshop for family and friends of all ages. Lunch can be ordered extra if you wish from the Barn Cafe.. just let us know your requirements and any dietary needs when booking and we can arrange for you.

FAQs
Most workshops are fully inclusive of materials but please do check the listing information to make sure.
We always recommend bringing an apron or old shirt if you are doing a potentially messy activity. We do have disposable ones available if you forget.
Hot drinks are available but you are welcome to bring your own if you desire.
If you have a booked a full day workshop, lunch will usually be included. Please let us know of any dietary requirements you may have, or if you would prefer to bring your own lunch along.
We can also book tables at the Barn Café on site, on your behalf, so please ask if you would like a table before or after your workshop.

We are situated 1 mile off the A12 from the Dobbies Garden Centre roundabout.
There is parking on site.
Please go the rear of the complex and use the parking area beyond the café and antiques centre if possible.
If you required a disabled parking place, please let us know ahead of your workshop and we can arrange for a space closer the entrance.
