Description

Lino printing is always one of our most popular workshops largely due to our wonderful local teacher, Jane Peacock. Jane is not only a well-known Chilterns based print artist but also a highly experienced teacher, so we are really grateful that she is part of our Where Inspiration Blooms community of teachers. In this 2 and a half hour workshop, under Jane’s expert guidance, you will learn the basics of lino printing and will leave with your very own ‘potagers’ print. Jane will cover everything you need to know to be able to create your own single colour lino print. Jane will take you through each stage of the lino cutting process - the best materials to use, basic tool techniques and how to use your tools to make different marks, design planning and transferring it to the lino, ink rolling and blending colours and printing. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have tried lino-printing before. All materials will be provided. Pavilion at Penn Street.
