Introduction to silver smithing class

Description

Here is an opportunity for you to try your hand at making your own piece of jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques. This can be a pendant, ring, or earrings. You will be guided through the basics piercing, filing, texturing, forming, soldering and polishing to make your finished piece. This is a two day course. The first day you will start by using copper and practice your skills and on the second day you will produce your final piece in silver from what you have learnt.

I have been creating jewellery for 13 years. I work with sterling silver and 9ct gold using traditional metalsmithing techniques. I've trained with the jewellers academy in London. My jewellery is inspired by animals and nature.
