What you will learn: • Understanding different yarns you can usually with your machine • Casting • How to use the punchcards • How to create your own punchcards • How to cast off • How to shape • How to link your pillow together In this intermediate knitting class you’ll be shown how to use the punchcards or to create your own punchcards to create your own pillow design. At the end of the knitting session you will be able to use the link up and put your knitted item together to create your own pillow of your own design. These workshops are delivered in a fun and engaging way in a lovely community setting of home studio. All materials are provided and you will walk away having learnt some valuable skills you can put to use in your own time and for your own creations as well as come away with a cushion. The workshops are delivered by an all-round knitwear professional who has worked at the highest levels in design, technical development, consultancy, and teaching. She specialises in hand, domestic and industrial knitting and teaches all aspects of these skills.
