Description
A pair of heart shaped silver earrings, handmade in Market Bosworth. The approximate dimension of each earring is 2cm wide and 2cm long. Heart stud earrings are a timeless and elegant piece of jewellery, characterised by their simple yet charming design. Each earring features a small, perfectly shaped heart that sits snugly against the earlobe. The hearts are crafted from silver clay, which when finished, become pure silver of a hallmark standard, giving them a sleek and shiny finish that catches the light beautifully. The heart shape is gently rounded, with smooth curves that create a soft, romantic look. These heart stud earrings are versatile enough to be worn daily, adding a touch of sweetness to any outfit, yet elegant enough for more formal occasions. Their simplicity makes them a perfect gift for someone special or a lovely addition to your own jewellery collection, symbolising love and affection with a classic, understated style. This jewellery is designed and hand-crafted by Louise in her Market Bosworth Studio. As the jewellery is hand-crafted there may be tiny variances from the image shown. Louise uses silver clay which, when finished, is 99% pure silver. Each piece comes in a gift box made from recycled materials.

I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio in 2012 and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition. I would love to meet you on one of my courses so please book as soon as you can. Louise x

FAQs
It is of hallmark standard and if I am selling a piece that weighs over 7.98 grams I have to hallmark it. I have my own hallmark registered with the London Assay Office.
Yes, it is 99% pure solid silver after firing.
I use silver clay, which is pliable, so it can be shaped into many designs that you can create yourself or I can help you with ideas. When you have molded your design in clay, you fire your piece to burn off other substances in the clay to leave a residue of 99% pure silver. You then polish your piece to finish off the process to create an amazing piece of your own unique silver jewellery.
Absolutely. I take every opportunity to look after our special world. I use recyclable packaging and the silver clay itself is made up from recycled material. Components of old mobile phones and out of date hospital x-rays are just examples of material that are recycled into silver clay.
