Description
Specifically designed to give bees a safe much needed drink of fresh water during the summer months without drowning made with central parts for bees to land on and drain hole to prevent over filling . Handmade in terracotta with food safe glazes . Frost resistant but not frost proof , take in during a hard frost. Wash with warm soapy water .
How this was made
These bowls are made using the "slump mold " process , decorated as a flat sheet of terracotta clay then pushed into a bowl shape where they are left to dry , bisc fired , then finally glazed and threaded with hand made beads .
