Fused glass workshop for beginners

Description

Enjoy a few hours in my small friendly workshops and learn to create something beautiful and unique in glass. Most people choose to decorate pre-cut glass, but if you prefer to cut your own glass, I'm very happy to teach you how. You can choose from a huge array of coloured glass, frits (crushed glass in different grades), stringers (glass spaghetti), Millefiori (pretty glass flowers etc) and glass paints to decorate your glass with. Please note, these workshops are slightly cheaper if you book via my Etsy shop www.thefloralfuse.etsy.com Workshops are held in my garden studio in Aylesbury, Bucks and include drinks and snacks. Each workshop is 10am - 1pm on a Saturday but I can do other days by arrangement, just get in touch. At the end of the workshop, I will fire your glass and let you know when it is ready to collect, or I can post it if preferred for a small additional fee. All abilities are welcome, no experience or creative ability is necessary. I will provide all direction and materials, but you are welcome to bring ideas with you if you would like to. The minimum age is 12 if attending with an adult. A minimum of 2 people is needed to go ahead with the class with a maximum of 4 per class. What's included in the price?

All workshops are a free for all and you can make what you like. We will start with a sample piece so you can get used to what decorations are available for you to use and then you can choose what to do with the A4 piece of clear glass I give you. I will help you to decide and there are lots of photos and templates you can use as well as lots of examples displayed around the studio. You don't need to be able to draw to make some gorgeous pieces. If you book this workshop, It would be a good idea to spend some time browsing Pinterest for Fused glass to get some examples of what you could make (I promise, you'll lose hours on it!!).
