Fused Glass Art Flowers - Coasters, Panels and Mini Vases
Description
In the morning there will be a short introduction to glass fusing and the wide range of techniques used. You will be introduced to the projects and have time to think about your own creative ideas. We will focus on a mix of Snowdrops, Daffodils and Bluebells. You will be introduced to the materials used in glass fusing and the range of techniques used to create designs, including learning the basics of glass cutting. With expert guidance, you will design and create a set of 2 glass coasters with a spring flower theme. After lunch, you will move on to create a larger project. You will have a choice of a small vase/tealight holder, a curved panel or a shallow bowl. You will use the skills learnt in the morning session to create your larger design, focusing again on the popular spring flowers. A larger project will give you more scope to play with scale of design and the full range of materials and techniques. All the tools and safety equipment will be supplied alongside expert tuition.
