Description
Join us at our cosy studio, in the gorgeous venue “Chepstow Art Space”, for a woolly foray into needlefelting with wool sculpture artist Michelle Hickman of Furzie. Michelle has many years’ experience teaching needlefelting and has also published a book on the subject. Sculpt a duck using just wire, wool and special needles – although there is no sewing involved and all the details are created from wool, with no glass eyes or beads. Your finished model will be around 7 inches in height, an Indian Runner Duck with wings folded. Join a workshop to learn essential techniques and practical tips under Michelle’s expert, friendly guidance and marvel in that magical moment when the wool comes to life. This course is suitable for absolute beginners or those with some experience – this would also make a fun gift. Class size limited to 8 (14yrs+).

Both train and bus station are a short walk from the Art Space
There is a car park called station road car park. It is located opposite the entrance of Tesco and it is free (despite it says it is only free after 18:00 and all day Sunday). Alternatively, there are some free spaces by the train station and in some nearby neighbourhoods.
