Join us for a creative felt making workshop, perfect for enthusiastic beginners as well as those with some experience. Guided by experienced felt maker Raya Brown, you’ll learn how to design and create your own seamless felted mobile phone or glasses case. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of wet felting, along with more advanced techniques such as working with a resist to create 3D forms. You’ll explore a variety of fibres, including wool, silk, and pre-felt, and incorporate decorative elements to give your case a personal and artistic touch. Enjoy the therapeutic and tactile process of wet felting as you experiment with textures, colours, and shapes. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful, functional felted case — perfect as a thoughtful gift or a stylish accessory for yourself.
