Description

Welcome to our Family Pottery workshop, running once a month on a Saturday afternoon with Paula. This is for all those potty potters out there…children and adults alike! Build on fine motor skills to gain knowledge and confidence working with raw clay. This month we are creating this lovely owl pot using the pinch pot technique. We encourage everyone in the family to have a go – our pottery projects are a lovely experience to share and are suitable for ages 5+ if accompanied by a helping adult. 8yr+ will be able to do it themselves. Please book for the number of owl pots you would like to make. But please tell us in the comments if anyone else is staying to assist, so we can make sure we have enough seats set out. You are welcome to drop off your child for this workshop if they are aged 8+. We aim to have time to dry your piece and decorate it with our underglazes, ready to be fired and glazed. Your finished piece will be ready to collect 4 weeks later (as it has to be fired twice!) Look out for more of these workshops, we have a different pottery project each month developed with new skills in mind. If you require any more information, please chat to our friendly staff on 01920 466446 or email us enquiries@artshedarts.co.uk.
