Family Pottery Dog or Cat Bowl – Saturday 24th January 2026
Description
Welcome to our Family Pottery workshop, running once a month on a Saturday afternoon with Paula. This is for all those potty potters out there…children and adults alike! Whoever is making will build on fine motor skills to gain knowledge and confidence working with raw clay. This month we are creating a small dog or cat bowl (measuring 13cm in diameter) This project is going to look amazing in your home either as a bowl for your pet or as a lovely bit of home decor. Show it off and be proud of it because you are creatively awesome! Our pottery projects are a lovely experience to share and are suitable for ages 5+ if accompanied by a helping adult. 8yr+ will be able to do it themselves. Please book for the number of pots you would like to make. But please tell us in the comments if anyone else is staying to assist, so we can make sure we have enough seats set out. You are welcome to drop off your child for this workshop if they are aged 8+. We aim to have time to dry your piece and decorate it with our underglazes, ready to be fired and glazed. Your finished piece will be ready to collect approx 4 weeks later (as it has to be fired twice!) Look out for more of these workshops, we have a different pottery project each month developed with new skills in mind. If you require any more information, please chat to our friendly staff on 01920 466446 or email us enquiries@artshedarts.co.uk.
