Experimental mono-print with No5workshops

Mono printing is a one off printmaking technique meaning each print you produce is unique. Layering textures, masking with hand cut/torn stencils, freehand quick paintings can all combine to produce many one-off experimental mono prints which can be use as art pieces in their own right or collage material for your projects.

We have scheduled workshops for individuals to join a group, alternatively you can book family/friends groups printmaking workshops at no5workshops. Please use the "chat with the maker" button below to discuss.

In this workshop, with demonstrations and lots of ideas to get you started, you'll forget the outside world while you focus on creating, making and having fun. I can do evenings too.

In an otherwise largely digital world we watch, we listen and we read, we watch and we scroll! enjoyable, but for the most part passive activities.
Making and learning a new process, especially in a group, generates energy and ideas. It forms a great way to kick start a creative pursuit, and motivates us to experience the joy and fulfilment derived from the creative process. In my workshops you will be shown, enabled, encouraged and inspired.

The workshops are not necessarily to be seen as complete experiences where students leave with a finished product rather to leave with ideas, potentials, and an expanded toolkit for your own development. They are for anyone who is looking to get into, or back into, a creative activity. As a result they work equally for complete beginners and practising artists, designers and teachers.

Recently the design team from Liberty (London) came for a specially tailored day long workshop, they came to get messy and explore new processes to enrich their design toolkit. They returned for another exciting and creative day too.

With over twenty five years of professional teaching experience, I continue to share knowledge with creative adventurers of all ages.

Welcome all!
