Dry Needle Felting - Seascape

X

Description

10:00 - 4:00 In this fun, one day workshop you will learn how to create a seascape using the unique art form of dry needle felting. We must warn you that this technique is addictive! You will start with some simple initial sketches, working from your own photos and/or provided images. We will then practise the technique to enable you to create a beautiful, finished piece to take home. You might choose to focus on just one final piece, or alternatively create a series to show, for example, a sunset or sunrise or perhaps something you have captured on holiday or in a special place. You will learn about compositions and how to layer and blend the felt to create a tranquil seascape scene and there will be plenty of demonstrations and hands on assistance. All materials, including a frame, are included. Additional frames can be purchased at a small cost on the day. What to bring: A packed lunch Reference images (but several will be available) Sewing machine if you have one (but not essential)
