Following on from Drawing Portraits 1 this course aims to extend your basic art skills and really push your portraiture skills with 3 weekly challenging tasks, all supported by myself via email - so you can contact me daily for advice and feedback on your tasks .
What's included in the price?
We will be looking at different ways of shading/seeing tone, and how other artists use different techniques and approaches. Course plan- 1) Refresher on portraiture 2)Use of cross hatching and directional shading 3) Inspired by the artist Nohan 4) Contour hatching and the artist Vince Low 5) Chiaroscuro and depth in drawings 6) Realism and using a stump
What you will need
For this course you will need basic drawing equipment H, Hb, 2B. 4B 6B pencils, rubber , sharpener, sketchpad Also cotton buds or a stump A piece of A4 black paper A white colour pencil * Computer to receive the classes plus optional a way of photographing your work to email to me for feedback
