Introduction to Kumihimo - Learn beautiful Japanese braiding

Description

Introduction to Kumihimo Suitable for beginners, this friendly class will cover basic techniques in kumihimo braiding. A variety of cord colours will be available to learn to make both a 7-strand and an 8-strand braided bracelet. We will be making bracelets from your chosen colours and learning how to finish them with metal clasps. All materials will be supplied, and your kumihimo disk is yours to keep after the class! This is an adult craft session, accompanied younger learners age 10+ welcome. Free parking available at rear of library.
