I am fascinated by the wonderful craft of shibori stitch resist, and I get great pleasure from exploring new ways of manipulating the fabric to create my latest designs and passing these ideas on to others. I am author of “Creative Stitched Shibori” a book full of wonderful informative material to help all discover and enjoy shibori. I have been creating and designing with shibori for 18 years. My speciality is to create forms and patterns from the natural world such as flowers, leaves, and shells. This is reflected in the blogs I write and the patterns I design. I have a passion for stitched shibori and love to teach my skills to others and see the wonderful creative fabrics they can create with my guidance. I want to make my knowledge and skills available to everyone who loves stitching and sewing.
