Design and Make a Hat out of Recycled Materials
Description
Sue Clow from rag Art Studios will be your tutor for the day. Using old jumpers, wool and/or acrylic we will sew and decorate at least one attractive beanie style hat. We will experiment with patchwork, applique and rag rug making techniques to decorate the hats making them fun for summer camping and festivals as well as warm for winter. Plenty of materials will be provided but we suggest you bring an item of knitwear the colour and texture of your choice for use as the base for your hat if you have a preference. You will need to bring a working sewing machine which has zigzag stitch. (We do have a couple of spare machines please enquire if you need one before booking)
