Curtain Making Workshop (Hand headed Double Pleat)
Description
This full day workshop covers all the techniques and skills required to make a handed headed interlined double pleat curtain. You will make a sample width, interlined double pleat curtain; learning hem measurements, how to attach interlining and lining; hand sewing hems and returns before attaching your buckrum and sewing your pleats. The class is suitable for those who have basic knowledge of curtain making or have made simple pencil pleat curtains already. Please note a large proportion of the making requires hand sewing. Class sizes are kept small allowing for plenty of one-to-one support to guide you through these projects.
