Sussex Green Woodworking offer 3 day coffee table making courses. Spend a weekend in a beautiful Sussex woodland learning a range of green woodwork techniques and make yourself a table to cherish for life. The courses are suitable for beginners or more experienced wood workers and all tools and materials are provided. The timber used is all locally grown hardwoods. The tutor is Danny Harling. He is a carpenter and furniture maker and has been making chairs for 30 years and teaching his craft since 1998. The woods are near Lewes which is under an hour from London by rail. Sussex Green Woodworking run a variety of courses that are suitable for anyone with an interest in green wood-working; from complete beginners to more experienced wood workers.

What's included in the price?

The fire is kept alight all day, and so tea and coffee always on the go. Vegetarian lunches are provided. We usually have a wholesome soup with good local bread and cheese, home-made pickles and fruit. All tools and materials are provided. Camping is permitted at no extra cost, although the facilities are basic. There's a loo but no shower.
