Coffee, Cake, 'n' Craft - Sea-Themed Shadow Box in New Romney, Kent

X

Description

This paper art workshop focuses on designing and creating a sea-themed shadow box using layered paper and card. You will learn how depth, spacing and shadow can be used to turn flat materials into a framed artwork with strong visual impact. During the session, you will plan and build your design by cutting, layering and spacing paper elements to create a sense of movement and depth. You can choose to create a coastal or underwater scene, incorporating features such as waves, shoreline details, shells, sea plants or small ocean creatures. Guidance is provided throughout on composition, colour balance and effective layering, helping you achieve a finished piece that feels well considered and visually engaging. The workshop is suitable for all experience levels and does not require any previous paper craft skills. With small group sizes, there is time to work at a relaxed pace while receiving individual support when needed. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the session offers a friendly and sociable environment where you can enjoy thoughtful, hands-on making without pressure.
