Coffee, Cake, 'n' Craft - Mini Light Up Village in New Romney, Kent
Description
This paper art workshop focuses on building a fully illuminated village scene using layered paper structures and integrated lighting. You will create and assemble a series of individual buildings before bringing them together into a complete village display designed to glow softly from within. During the session, you will construct a selection of paper buildings, such as houses, shops and feature structures, learning how to assemble them neatly and consistently. Once completed, these elements are arranged into a layered scene, with lighting added to create warmth and depth. You will also add trees and scenic details to balance the layout and give the village character and visual interest. The workshop is designed to be steady and engaging, allowing you to work through each stage in sequence as the scene develops. No previous experience is required, and guidance is available throughout to support both construction and layout decisions. The session is suitable for all experience levels and is run in a relaxed, friendly environment. With all materials provided, you can focus entirely on the making process and enjoy watching your village take shape. By the end of the workshop, your illuminated scene will be complete and ready to display.
