Coffee, Cake, 'n' Craft - Fused Glass Mini Feature in New Romney, Kent
Description
This hands-on fused glass workshop introduces you to designing a small glass feature using layered glass techniques. You will plan and assemble your own compact fused glass piece, focusing on colour, shape and composition to create a finished design with depth and visual interest. During the session, you will work with a selection of coloured and textured glass, exploring how different combinations interact when layered. You can choose what to create, whether a decorative piece for the home, a small hanging item or a simple glass feature designed to catch the light. Your design will be carefully prepared during the workshop and then fused after the session, allowing the glass to melt together and form a smooth, finished piece. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience working with glass. With small group sizes, guidance is available throughout while still allowing you the freedom to explore your own ideas at a relaxed pace. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the session offers a calm, sociable environment where you can focus on learning and making. All tools and materials are provided.
