This half-day Christmas workshop focuses on creating a bespoke felt stocking using a combination of wet felting and needle felting techniques. You will learn how to build structure with layered wool fibres before adding decorative detail, resulting in a finished stocking designed to be used and enjoyed as part of your festive celebrations. During the session, you will be guided through each stage of the process, starting with wet felting to form the body of the stocking. Once the base is complete, you will use needle felting to add surface decoration, texture and character. A wide range of festive colours, fibres and embellishments is available, allowing you to create a stocking that suits your own style, whether traditional, playful or more understated. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous crafting experience. Run in a small-group setting, the session offers step-by-step guidance and plenty of time to work at a relaxed pace. The focus is on enjoying the process while learning techniques that can be used again in future projects.

The half-day format allows plenty of time to complete your stocking without feeling rushed. You will leave with a finished felt stocking, a handcrafted piece ready to hang, gift or bring out year after year as part of your Christmas traditions. Workshop timings are approximate and may vary slightly depending on individual pace and creativity. A minimum of two bookings is required for each workshop; if this number is not met, bookings may be moved to the next available date.
