This half-day workshop focuses on creating a soft, characterful fairy or gnome using fabric, fibres and decorative elements. You will be guided through building a rounded, tactile body before adding clothing, simple facial features and finishing details that give your figure its individual personality. During the session, you will work step by step through the making process, shaping the form and then choosing colours, textures and accessories to complete your design. You can create a fairy or gnome that feels playful, cosy or understated, depending on your preference. The process is accessible and enjoyable, with plenty of opportunity to personalise your finished piece. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with more crafting experience. With a small group size, there is ample individual support and time to work at a relaxed pace. The session offers a friendly, sociable atmosphere where you can focus on making while enjoying the company of others.

An experienced tutor will offer clear, step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop, with individual support available whenever needed. You will leave with a finished fairy or gnome, a handmade figure full of character and charm, ready to be displayed, gifted or enjoyed at home.
