Join ceramic artist Chloe for a festive and creative workshop where you’ll design and paint a charming Christmas scene of your own home on a large ceramic plate — the perfect centrepiece for serving your Christmas pudding! Your plate will be pre-made and ready for you to paint using a beautiful selection of colours and underglazes. Chloe will guide you step-by-step through the painting process, helping you bring your personal Christmas scene to life with ease and creativity. Once complete, your plate will be professionally fired and returned to Micklems in time for Christmas — ready to use or give as a unique handmade gift. No prior experience needed, just bring your imagination and festive spirit! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING A PRINTED A5 SIZED PRINT OFF OF YOUR HOUSE. Materials: Materials will be provided by the tutor. The cost of these is £15 which includes your pre-made plate, glazes, food safety glazing and firing, payable to the tutor during the course. What to bring: - A5 print out of your house. - Apron. - Old clothes. - Your favourite paint brushes. - Packed lunch.

Included on the day: - Any other materials not specified for student to bring/pay for on the day. - Expert tuition. - 1 to 1 guidance. - Detailed demonstrations. A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives, etc. And of course you take your wonderful creations from the day. If you share any photographs of your day here and/or your finished work, we’d love to see them so please tag our social media channels! Terms - fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us via the 'message the tutor' button below. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
