Block Printing - Create a printed bag & design your own fabric
Description
Jennie's fabulous collection of hand-carved wooden printing blocks will be at your disposal to create your own fabric prints. Learn the techniques of block printing, how to combine colours and create designs that can be applied to a range of homeware including cushions, wallpaper, lampshades, napkins and tablecloths. Make a printed tote bag and create a separate piece of bespoke fabric to take home and use in a future project. This workshop is just one of four workshops available at our Crafty Day, with Jennie of Jolly Super Things and Jenny Smith – papercrafter and Stampin Up! demonstrator. Explore papercrafting, making multiple projects including creating sculpted flowers and delve into stencilling on fabric or traditional Indian block printing. Pop-up shop with kits and craft supplies!
