Mytchett Quilters beginners patchwork and quilting classes
Description
If you have an itch to stitch join these classes to learn how to make small items like cushion covers, place mats, table runners, mini quilts, sampler quilts or larger quilts from cot size to king size. Skills: You will learn to use a rotary cutter and cut accurately, sew 1/4” seams, press seams to the dark side, add sashing and borders, create a quilt sandwich, perform basic machine quilting, add binding and choose fabric, block patterns and quilt designs. Please bring your sewing machine and sewing kit to the classes
What's included in the price?
10 Sessions at £20 per lesson, one class per month to enable home sewing and completion of classwork. Pay as you go is also available but please note that you will not receive the patterns or instructions for any classes that you don't attend. Tea, coffee, cake
