This delicious style of cooking is all the rage now. So, join us and travel the world in one day, learning how to make some of the worlds finest street food dishes using authentic ingredients and techniques to create a range of dishes from across Asia. Here is an example of the sort of dishes that could be included: From India we might make chicken or paneer Kathi rolls and Vada pav, the classic maharashtra fried potato dumpling flavoured with curry leaves and mustard seeds. Moving into Vietnam we could cook Banh Mi, French influenced orientalist baguettes and Pho, the wonderful fragrant broth. From There to Thailand and the fabulous Khao Soi or coconut noodle soup and Lao, the aromatic meat salad from Laos. Where we could travel to Malaysia and Assam Laksa or hot and sour fish soup and a classic meat or vegetable satay. Then on to Indonesia and Martabak- spicy fried dough stuffed pancakes and the classic Gulai, a rich creamy fish curry. Up to Japan and Korroke, Japanese croquettes and a mixed teriyaki, cooked over charcoal and Smokey and sweet.
