Arm knitting workshop – create your own chunky blanket. Come and spend a fun and relaxing couple of hours learning the incredibly satisfying craft of arm knitting! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll make your very own super chunky, snuggly blanket – perfect for cosy nights in or as a thoughtful handmade gift. No experience needed – if you can move your arms, you can arm knit! I’ll guide you step-by-step through casting on, knitting stitches, and casting off, using just your arms as your needles. What you’ll make: A beautiful blanket measuring approx. 150cm x 80cm (sizes will vary a little depending on stitch tension and your arm size). You’ll leave with your finished blanket ready to enjoy – and the skills to keep creating more at home! We’ll be in touch before your class to confirm your yarn colour. If you book less than a week ahead, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of the gorgeous colours we have in stock.

FAQs
We are in a shared building with other creatives. You need to ring the buzzer/intercom situated on the left of the black door (no. 9 St Georges Street) and we will answer and let you in. There is normally an A-frame with our branding on outside the studio to help you find us. We are opposite a nail bar and diagonal to Cosmopolitan cocktail bar and restaurant.
I am afraid we are on the first floor with no lift, so you have to be able to manage a flight of stairs.
We are located in the centre of Chorley. Parking is restricted to 1 hour Mon-Sat 9-5pm, if you come to an evening class or a class on a Sunday then you can park outside on St Georges Street with no restrictions. There is plenty parking within 5 mins walk of the studio £2 for 3-4 hours or £3.50 for the full day. We recommend Fleet Street, Portland Street, Friday Street and George Street Chorley council car parks.
