An afternoon tailored to your needs. Either choose to come along as a beginner for a taster session or use this time to explore a more advanced skill or technique. Perhaps you're visiting Bath for the weekend and are looking for a unique activity or you have worked with glass before and need a one off session or sessions to complete a project for a special gift or for an exhibition. Also a great way to try before committing to the 10 week course on Friday mornings. Taster:- Learn about fused glass and all its wonderful possibilities! You will learn the basics of cutting sheet glass as well as inclusions, stringers, frits, powders and more to create jewellery, hangings or seasonal projects. The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience. No prior experience is necessary. There will be lots of design ideas available. Masterclass:- Been working with glass for a while or already attended a few workshops, use this time to learn a new skill or gain help with an individual project. Agreed in advance you could learn kiln carving, freeze and fuse, circle cutting, stenciling, decals, fosil Vitra, small slumped or draped pieces or help with an individual project.
What's included in the price?
All glass is provided but if you wanted to make something bigger it will be charged accordingly. The work will be fired and available to collect shortly after the course or I can post at an additional charge.
