You will learn about safety round the lathe, woodturning tools and techniques, and use them to shape your bowl from a lovely piece of ash wood. You will then seal and wax polish your bowl ready to use.

Yes, I provide tea, coffee and biscuits half way through, and water is always available.

Solid shoes are a must, no crocs or sandals please. A smock to protect your clothes is provided which is short sleeved so ideally something short sleeved that you don't mind getting a bit dusty. Long hair needs to be tied out of the way, and loose sleeves need to be pulled up out of the way.

Yes, you will always be able to take your project home. The vast majority of the making you will do yourself, Glenn will sometimes step in occasionally to make sure that your project gets finished on time.
