Looking for a fun, relaxing and creative evening? Join me for a 3D and Raised Embroidery Workshop at The Plough and Harrow, Long Ditton. Perfect for beginners, this friendly and hands-on session will introduce you to beautiful embroidery and beading techniques. Led by Katherine Savage of Treasure Kave Embroidery, you’ll learn essential stitches like basic beading, woven rose wheels, how to create 3D bead sculptures, picot stitches, turkey work and french knots —ideal if your wanting to add more 3D to your embroidery or creating your own gifts. In this workshop, you will choose from a variety of base fabrics, threads and bead colours in a variety of colours to create your own design. If there is a specific colour you would like, feel free to message me in advance so l can bring that along. But l will have a huge variety you can pick from. It’s the perfect activity to enjoy with a friend—relax, chat, and get creative in a warm and welcoming setting. -During the workshop l’ll will be introducing a range of beginner hand embroidery stitches, starting with some easier ones and these will build up as your confidence grows
-You’ll receive the kit with all materials on the day.
-At The Plough and Harrow, we have a lovely area in the conservatory which is both cosy and bright. As you come into the venue, walk past the bar and head towards the garden.
The workshops will be perfect for those that have never done any embroidery before and also those with more experience.
