Description
Traditional images of Christmas make up this mat with a snow-topped post box and some delightful robins. This is a wool felt sewing kit so you can make a Christmas Post penny mat. Full instructions, colour pictures and detailed templates will support your project. The base of this mat is 'cloudy grey' and will measure 42cm x 42cm when complete. Coloured felts are to be cut and appliqued on to the mat - fusible web is helpful but not essential. Stitches suggested are blanket stitch, back stitch and french knots but you can choose your own. Display with Christmas foliage, a hurricane lamp or anything of your choosing! The finished mat will measure 45cm x 42cm.

Since leaving my role as a primary school teacher I have continued to work with children as a private tutor. Having plenty of time on my hands, I also design sewing kits and run craft workshops.
