Description

Come along and learn to make simple sewing projects that sell well at charity events! Learn to make gifts for friends, or raise money for your favourite charity. We'll do two projects on the day: 1) Elasticated Book Pen Pouch - This fabric pen pouch is an ideal item for putting on your diary, notebook or folder so you always have a pen when you need one. 2) Zippered pouch - Make a simple zippered pouch to hold make up, jewellery, craft resources etc. it has unlimited uses. Come along and try something new! Make Christmas gifts in advance, or support your favourite charity. We'll be collecting projects for Alzheimer's UK on the day, who provide crucial support for anyone diagnosed with Alzheimers or Dementia. Feel free to donate your creation, or take it home for someone you love.

What's included in the price?

All materials (fabric, elastic & zippers) are included in this workshop. If you would prefer to bring your own fabric and zippers, so you can choose the colours, you are very welcome. We will be completing the projects using sewing machines ... so you'll need to bring your own sewing machine, and neutral coloured thread please. The fabric / supplies for this course have been provided through generous donations from other crafters. ** We are a small charity devoted to getting people into craft. We aim to keep our workshop price as low as possible in order to make it as accessible as we can. We are always taking in donations of fabric and craft supplies, which we put towards future projects. So if you are clearing out your cupboards, please feel free to bring anything to the session that needs a new home. ** Children (8 years & up) are welcome at the session, but they must be accompanied by an adult (with a separate ticket). If you have any disabilities or support needs we will do our best to accommodate you. Please just drop us an email ahead of time to talk it through.
