Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "Second course for me and with Jo's unending enthusiasm, advice and encouragement. I made the most beautiful cat sculpture, who will be gracing the garden from Spring. It takes a lot to ensure that everyone on these courses is given the attention and help they need but Jo and Andy are without doubt the dynamic duo and we all left with completed works of art, every question answered and armed with contacts to continue making things. I can't put into words the fun we all had even though we were all focussing on our work. Just counting the months until I can come again!"

"Wow, such a wonderful little project to complete. The kit was perfectly labelled with a great YouTube video to follow at your leisure. I did my hare over the course of a couple of weeks. A sitting for each stage. Jo's explanation of the process was easy to follow and felt like you were in the room with her. As for 'Mr Hare' well he is just fantastic! I might wait for the weather to warm up before I put him outside, or knit him a jumper. He looks very majestic on my mantlepiece for the time being. I purchased as a gift for myself. I will be adding to my collection for sure. I might even sign up for an in house course and make a weekend of it some day soon. "

"I loved making the clay hare! The pack was very well put together with clear instructions about what to do. The online video was very helpful. The whole process was throughly enjoyable and I learned a lot. I thought the bronze gilt effect at the end was a great touch and really made the piece. I can say I have been bitten by the clay sculpture bug and have now started on another piece myself "

"I purchased a large and small hare craft kit to make at home. It was honestly one of the best things I have ever bought. I have loved making my hare! The video is so easy to follow and everything supplied for you! Down to the sponges and paint brushes. Had more than everything I needed and the most amazing time making something I will hopefully keep forever. Jo has been brilliant and helpful and even went the extra mile to video call to advise me of a bit I was struggling with. Cannot recommend enough!
