Description
A day of traditional hands-on upcycling using old clothes, bedding, etc. This full day workshops is designed to give you all the skills you need to be able to make a twined rag rug project for yourself. You will learn how to choose and prepare the fabric, how to set up the loom as well as basic twining weaving techniques The skills you learn can be used to create larger projects at home, be warned, it can become adictive.
What's included in the price?
Your course fee includes tuition from one of our experienced tutors, the use of equipment and all materials will be provided and there will be the oportunity to purchase some equipment if you choose. Be warned, it can become adictive. There will be a £5. charge for material payable to the tutor on the day or you are welcome to bring your own fabric (eg: single duvet cover)
