Description
A nature inspired workshop where we’ll create wire drawings, observing from leaves and flowers. You are encouraged to bring along your own photos or plants, as well as taking inspiration from those provided. You’ll learn how to handle different gauges of wire to create a variety of shapes. You may just want to keep your "wire sketches" as they are but you'll have the option to bring them together as a finished piece to hang on the wall at the end if you prefer, see my examples for options. All of the photos here, except that of my examples, are of student work produced on a recent workshop. I'm very grateful to those students to be able to share their work. This workshop is aimed at adults, but may also suit teenagers. Any under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. The workshop is held in the building which houses my jewellery studio and you'll be able to visit it on the day.
