Join Lisa-marie from Creative Avenue to make a mini mosaic artwork in the form of a pendant. In this workshop you will be guided through the process of selecting, cutting and positioning your chosen elements to create unique pieces of jewellery. Ideal as a gift. Choose two silver - plated pendant trays from a selection of shapes. There will be images and examples available for inspiration and a wide range of tiny tiles, beads, china shards and other decorative inclusions to choose from. The grouting process will be demonstrated and you'll receive the required kit and instructions to grout with confidence at home. Held in the artist's comfortable home studio in Elvington, York. Max 6 places for 1-1 attention. Lisa-marie is a friendly Art teacher with over 20 years experience, an exhibiting Mosaic Artist and member of BAMM (British Association for Modern Mosaic). Children aged 10 years + are welcome with a participating adult.

FAQs

I have been an Art and Design teacher for 25 yrs and can happily adapt the creative process to suit different levels of skill and experience, from complete beginner to confident creatives. There will be no judgement or expectation, just a shared enjoyment of the creative process.

You might like to bring an apron, but otherwise all materials and equipment are provided and included in the cost. Whilst cuppa and cake are available, you might like to bring your own snacks or packed lunch for longer workshops.
